Remember to Forgive ASAP

Here’s what I recently discovered about forgiving people: the faster I do it, the better I feel. Letting time pass before I forgive someone is like waiting to drink water when I’m already dehydrated.

Yes, we should forgive people that hurt us long ago. Of course I’ll continue to do that when it comes up. Also, I’ll forgive anyone that is pissing me off now. That’s what I mean by I feel better the faster I forgive. Who is upsetting me, or has very recently upset me? We live such dynamic lives that we’re constantly getting confronted with things that piss us off. Chances are, something or someone has pissed you off today or will soon!

You could ask yourself right now who or what is currently upsetting you. And choose to forgive. When you say, “I forgive _______”, setting yourself free, a heads up that you are not allowing hurtful behavior to continue or saying that it’s permissible. You’re releasing yourself from the shackles of grudge so that you can have your access back to the endlessly renewable energetic system called Love.
