We’ve all been there: we’ve been the weird kid at school or had the secret that we didn’t want discovered, or seen what happens to someone in our community when they “act differently”. It’s our uniquenesses that give this world so much color and joy, but we must accept and hold space for those that are different from us. Otherwise, squabbles, fights, and war creep up because we begin to view differences as dangers.
